General Description
The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing sales and administrative support to the Key Account Executives (KAE) and Manufacturer Representatives to ensure customer needs are met. This position processes orders as assigned and coordinates the workflow of product inquiries through the sales, engineering, operations, manufacturing, and quality processes.

Principle Responsibilities
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of MDI Point-of-Purchase (POP) products and services.  
  • Field incoming calls from customers, exemplifying an outstanding phone demeanor.
  • Resolve customer concerns using pro-active problem solving and follow-up skills.
  • Provide sales and administrative support to the KAE and Manufacturer Representatives.
  • Quote pre-determined price guidelines to customers and ensure proper pricing on processed orders.
  • Ensure the timely shipment of customer orders by interfacing with other departments.
  • Maintain appropriate files and records pertaining to customer orders and shipments.
  • For large or complex inquiries and orders, schedule and facilitate project meetings, as needed. 
  • Prepare meeting agenda and meeting summary. 
  • Be the project point person to communicate project information and keep the project on track. 
  • Work with designated KAE to increase customer satisfaction with orders and products.
  • Order entry as applicable and follow through with the CRM project database.
  • Follow up with “after the sale” service which may include warranty issues, tracing shipments, issuing credits where appropriate, and confirming customer satisfaction.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives and document the standardization of processes.
  • Be an effective team-player.  Interact and work cross-functionally with MDI departments.
  • Exemplify a professional work demeanor, upholding the Company Core Values.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and uphold a safe and healthy work environment for all. 
  • All other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills and able to interact in a professional manner to foster a positive work environment.
  • Solid deductive reasoning skills, with the ability to think through processes and make effective business decisions.
  • Self-motivated individual who takes ownership of processes to manage them effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work to manage multiple projects effectively, with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to motivate others to meet deadlines, exercise continual follow-up, plan and facilitate effective meetings.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook and Excel
  • Valid Driver’s License
